Job Description

We offer cycling tours throughout some of Europe’s most beautiful regions. We provide market leading levels of service to our clients and sell a range of French itineraries that have been designed by us and are operated by us.

We are looking for 5x Destination Managers who share our passion for France to join our overseas team, between April/May and October, at our bases in Provence, the Loire Valley and Bordeaux. We are accepting applications from both individuals and couples.

Your duties will be varied and challenging with no two days the same. Duties will include:

Pre-arrival booking checks and finalizing tour details
Onboarding guests at the beginning of their holidays and catching up at the end of their stays Conducting welcome meetings at the start of the tour
Transferring luggage between hotels as clients move through the tour
Cleaning and maintaining bicycles
Checking hotel and restaurant reservations
Maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers
Keeping bike storage facilities well organised, secure and sufficiently stocked
Ensuring company health and safety policies are followed
Providing our clients with the highest levels of service and standards in line with our company values and to maintain our excellent reputation
Reporting regularly to the office-based operations team

You will have:

Due to the nature of the role all applicants must have a full clean UK driving license (Type B)
Friendly, personable and gregarious character and enjoy looking after guests
Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure when required
An interest in bikes and bike maintenance (additional training will be provided)
Ability to work on a flexible and independent basis
Reasonable French language skills would be a bonus but not essential
Provisional start dates and staff requirements:

Provence - 2x DMs - Last week of March

Loire Valley - 2x DMs - Second week of April

Bordeaux - 1x DM - Last week of April
